About me!

Who Am I?

This is Sam Caviness, the writer behind the Aspiring Analyst. Welcome to my blog! As my first post on here, I would like to tell you all a little about myself so you can learn a little about my background and not just my passion for becoming a business analyst.

I have lived my whole life in raleigh until moving to school. Although I was alway in raleigh we moved several times, never switching schools thankfully. Growing up in one city my whole life allowed me to build very strong friendships and most I will have my whole life. My hobbies include hunting, fishing, sailing, and most of all surfing. I fell in love with surfing at a very young age and have loved it ever since. This spring break will be there first surf trip ive ever been on. I am going to Puerto Rico! I am going with four friends that I met here at ECU and we couldn't be more pumped. One of the the biggest factors in my dicision making in coming to ECU was being near the beach. I love going to the outter banks on big swell with friends to go surf and is why ECU geographically was the best spot for me. I came here wanting to be a constuction management (CM) major but decided it wasn't for me after my internship this summer in Creede, Colorado. I recently swtiched my major over to business adminastration. Since switching over I have loved the program so far but will likely have an extra semester here at ECU due to being late on my switch. With this blog I hope to give you guys insite on what I love about business its self and do a little analyzing on stocks, and even how political issues like foriegn affairs crisis' affect stock value. We will even dive into the famous short squeeze of gamestop and how it lost huge hedge funds in NewYork billions of dollars.

If you like money and are interested in smart investsments and want to make passive income. Tune into the Aspiring analyst to get an insider look at what our markets are doing in todays time!
